Meet Jackie
Born in Lloydminster, Jackie was raised by entrepreneurs and taught the value of hard work and what it means to build a future for yourself and the people around you. Learning the principles of hard work and accountability working in her family's restaurant and other businesses.
Jackie's passion in agriculture took her to Fairview College where a deeper understanding and appreciation for Agriculture and rural living was found and shaped her views of what living in Alberta should be.
Over the past 27 years Jackie has built a life based on hard work, service to others and commitment to making her community better. Building a life with her husband Shane and 2 children Camryn & CJ has led to a deep understanding of what it means to live life in our region.
In 2018 Jackie joined the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association and for the past 8 years has been growing and developing into the leader she is today. Joining the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce, first as a Political Action committee member and then a board member, Jackie was thrilled to step into the role of President in March 2025. Seeing the economic issues and helping to advocate for them within the Chamber has been a tremendous privilege.
Also, joining the board of Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies has shown Jackie the necessity of rural life and making sure our region is well supported.
Jackie enjoys being a part of the Bordercity Rotary Club as well as volunteering for many different organizations in our region (Olive Tree, Lloydminster Bobcats, Vermilion Fair, SK Summer Games, Lloydminster Hotdoggers Club)
